The jobs Personalberatung GmbH, in cooperation with myVeeta, cordially invites you to an interesting, free specialist lecture that sheds light on a highly topical issue in the area of recruiting and HR:

"Recruiting learns foreign languages – Intercultural competence as a key qualification" – Thursday, 01.12.2016 at 6:30 PM

Globalization, migration, immigration, flight and expatriates contribute to the continuous change of our society. In 2015, 1,812,900 people with a migration background lived in Austria. This reality places diverse (new) demands on HR departments, especially since the ethnic and cultural-religious heterogeneity of our society—and therefore the contacts between people with different values and norms inside and outside companies—inevitably increases.

Constructive handling of cultural diversity and differing value systems on an interpersonal level is today one of the key qualifications for every person.

International studies confirm this: in a study by the German Graduate School of Management & Law, experts from politics and business were surveyed. The results are clear: 90% of the experts attribute high relevance to intercultural competence in business, and 100% believe that intercultural competence can be learned.

HR must confront this issue: intercultural competence is a necessity in all areas — from recruiting and leadership and management to personnel development.

In the lecture "Recruiting learns foreign languages: Intercultural competence as a key qualification in HR" by Manuel Erkan Bräuhofer, you will receive an overview of the particularities of different ethnic communities as well as concrete tools and recommendations for action to sustainably improve HR work with people shaped by different cultural backgrounds.

Target audience:
Managing directors, HR managers, heads of HR, recruiters, personnel developers, HR officers responsible for labor law, interested executives
