The "Journalism" Course in Detail

In modern video- and script-based lectures as well as in the seven online practical workshops you learn everything about journalism. The course is a distance and online study program under the Fernunterrichtsschutzgesetz (FernUSG). You complete it exclusively online. The lectures are video-based. In addition, you receive the necessary course scripts to follow the instruction. In online seminars and webinars you meet with other participants and instructors. Practical workshops and examinations also take place digitally. You benefit from the elimination of travel costs and travel time. You can access the learning content at any time from any location. The distance learning program comprises 20 modules. In 13 learning modules you receive a comprehensive insight into theory. In seven practical workshops you apply your acquired knowledge directly. All assignments receive detailed feedback. You complete each module with an examination. At the end you produce a report as a final project. The course lasts 12 months. If desired, you can complete the program within a maximum of two years alongside your employment.
